This ranking system will serve as the basis for determining tournament fixtures.
Below is the breakdown of how players will earn points in this ranking system:

1. Participation
- Entered (per event): 1 point
2. Group Stage
- 1st place in group: 4 points
- 2nd place in group: 3 points
- 3rd place in group: 2 points
- 4th place in group: 1 point
- 5th place and below: 0 points
3. Knockout Stage
- Quarter-final (QF): 4 points
- Semi-final (SF): 6 points
- 3rd place playoff (winner): 5 points
- Runner-up: 8 points
- Winner: 12 points
4. Times Played
A separate record is kept of how many tournaments each player has entered (“Times Played”). This provides context for a player’s ranking, as those who compete more frequently may accumulate higher totals.Note for players:
- All points from participation, group stage and knockout rounds are cumulative.
- Rankings are updated after each UKCTTA tournament.
- The “Times Played” record ensures transparency and fairness when comparing results.
